About the course

Human error remains one of the most significant factors in aviation accidents, accounting for up to 80% of occurrences. The Crew Resource Management (CRM) Implementation course helps aviation professionals reduce these risks through improved teamwork, communication, and decision-making. This program provides practical tools and proven methods to strengthen safety culture and operational effectiveness across all flight operations.

Developed in line with the IATA Crew Resource Management (CRM) framework, this course focuses on applying human factors principles to real-world aviation environments. Participants learn how to identify threats, manage errors, and design effective CRM strategies that enhance safety and efficiency. Furthermore, the program demonstrates how CRM supports a Safety Management System (SMS) and meets IOSA Standards and Recommended Practices (ISARPs).

Through interactive sessions, discussions, and Line Oriented Flight Training (LOFT) exercises, participants gain hands-on experience in applying CRM concepts to flight operations. They also explore Threat and Error Management (TEM) and Non-Technical Skills (NTS), including leadership, situational awareness, and workload management. As a result, they can create CRM programs that address human performance challenges while improving collaboration between flight and cabin crews.

In addition, the Crew Resource Management (CRM) Implementation course highlights practical approaches for establishing, delivering, and evaluating CRM training across airline departments. Delivered by experienced aviation safety professionals, it can be customized for your organization and conducted at your preferred location.

Upon successful completion, participants receive an IATA Certificate and may apply this course toward the IATA Diploma in Safety Management for Airlines. By implementing effective CRM principles, your organization can reduce errors, enhance team performance, and promote a strong, proactive safety culture.
