Namibia Civil Aviation Authority and AVIASON Sign MoU at Aviation Week Africa

On the sidelines of Aviation Week Africa 2026, the Namibia Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and AVIASON Global Aviation Solutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening cooperation in aviation safety oversight, training, and digital transformation.

The signing took place during Aviation Week Africa, held in Windhoek from 22–25 April 2026, bringing together aviation leaders, regulators, and industry stakeholders from across the continent to advance connectivity and sector development.

The agreement places strong emphasis on digital transformation within NCAA, positioning technology as a key enabler for modern, efficient, and data-driven aviation oversight.

Under this partnership, AVIASON will lead the development and deployment of tailored digital systems designed to:

  • Strengthen safety oversight tracking and monitoring
  • Improve regulatory compliance management
  • Enable real-time data analysis and reporting
  • Increase operational transparency and efficiency

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to modernizing aviation oversight through technology and strengthening regulatory effectiveness in Namibia’s civil aviation sector.
