The RPAS Regulatory Oversight Training is a program that strengthens the regulatory skills needed to oversee Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS). The course runs in English and includes expert-led presentations, structured course materials, and group discussions. Instructors assess participants through interactive activities to reinforce learning. These activities also help with practical application.
This training gives participants a solid and practical understanding of the regulatory environment that governs Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems at international and national levels. Participants explore RPAS classifications and operating concepts. Moreover, they learn how ICAO Annexes apply to unmanned aircraft. They examine national regulatory frameworks and learn how to align them with global standards.
Throughout the course, participants review operational approval processes and evaluate Concepts of Operations (ConOps). They apply risk assessment methods used in RPAS oversight. They study VLOS, BVLOS, and night operations. Therefore, they better understand the full operational profile of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems.
The program also focuses on airspace integration and coordination with ATM/UTM systems. Participants work with topics such as Detect and Avoid (DAA), Command and Control (C2) links, and SMS practices designed specifically for RPAS operators. Additional modules address cybersecurity, privacy, and security risks. They also cover compliance monitoring, inspections, audits, and enforcement procedures. The course also introduces the principles of RPAS accident and incident investigation. Therefore, participants are enabled to support safety oversight effectively.
