The ANS-ATM Safety Oversight Course equips Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) inspectors and Air Navigation Services (ANS) professionals with the knowledge and practical skills they need to oversee Air Navigation Services (ANS) and Air Traffic Management (ATM) systems. The course follows ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) and national aviation regulations.
Participants gain practical knowledge of safety oversight principles, surveillance planning, inspection techniques, regulatory enforcement, and oversight document management. They learn how to plan surveillance activities, conduct inspections, prepare inspection reports, and apply regulatory requirements in real operational environments. The course combines regulatory guidance with practical oversight scenarios, helping participants strengthen State Safety Oversight capabilities and improve the effectiveness of ANS-ATM surveillance.
The instructor uses practical exercises, inspection scenarios, case studies, and report-writing activities to develop participants’ inspection skills. Participants apply the knowledge they gain throughout the course to real regulatory oversight activities.
